Potato Fry Air Fryer Recipe
Here is an awesome Potato wedges air fryer recipe that can be made in minutes. This requires very minimal ingredients and is super healthy as it requires very less amount of oil.
Potato Wedges are one of the best starters that one can eat. No other vegetable can beat the rich taste of a Potato. And to flavor this awesome vegetable, all you need is salt and chilli powder or pepper. With an Air Fryer, youíll also be able to minimise the oil that gets used while preparing a conventional dish. 1-2tbsp of Ooil is what is required to make it. Check the recipe that I have given below that will serve 2. In this recipe, I have used a pressure cooker to half cook the potatoes. This reduces the overall time required for making the dish in the Air Fryer.
- Serves: 2 people
- Preparation Time: 5 minutes
- Cooking Time: 20 minutes
- 2 large - Potatoes
- 1 tbsp - Salt
- 1 tbsp - Chilli Powder/ Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp - Olive Oil
- 6 Cups - Water
1: Place the Potatoes without peeling in a pressure cooker filled with around 6 cups of water. Water level in the cooker should be at the height of the largest Potato. Pressure cook the Potatoes for 4-5 whistles.
2: Next, let the cooker cool down and then open the lid. Remove the hot water carefully from the Cooker and replace it with cold water.
3: After being sure that the potatoes are cooled down, peel off the skin from the Potatoes.
4: Cut them in wedge shaped pieces.
5: Move the pieces to a bowl or a Poly bag and add salt, olive oil and chilli powder/black pepper to it. Shake well so that all the pieces get coated evenly.
6: Now move the Coated potato pieces to the air fryers basket and cook at 180 C for around 8 minutes. After 8 minutes, remove the basket from the machine and toss the pieces so as to expose the other ends. Place the basket in the machine again and cook at 180 C for another 8 minutes.
7: That is it. Your potato wedges are ready to be served with a variety of dips [tomato sauce, chilli sauce, Tabasco sauce, etc.]
